The Body Language of the Republican Candidates at the Presidential Debate yesterday August 6, 2015 was fascinating, fun to watch and informative. Their responses to questions from the moderators were great and the Body Language tied things together for me. In the afternoon the winner of the most appropriate use of Body Language was Carly Fiorina.

Her Body Language reflected what she was saying and helped to punctuate her words

.

The use of Body Language by the final 10 candidates in the evening was by far Donald Trump and Governor Chris Christie. Governor Christie turned his body toward Rand Paul, raised his eyebrows which indicate sincerity and used his hand and fingers to punctuate his emotional connection to his experience. Note the Body Language of Rand Paul which probably caused Chris Kristie to swing to the conclusion prompted by Megyn Kelly.

Gov. Chris Christie (NJ) and Senator Rand Paul (KY)
He focused on Rand Paul unlike some of the  contenders who only turned their head and seemed frozen to the lectern. These debates were comparable to a job interview or an audition. Keep that in mind when you watch the body Language of the candidate's next presentation or debate. After all Body Language represents up to 90% of the message.
